Academic Performance
EYFS
At the end of the Reception year, pupils are assessed against a series of 'Early Learning Goals' in 5 areas: Communication & Language; Physical Development; Personal, Social & Emotional Development; Literacy; and Mathematics. If a pupil achieves all of the Early Learning Goals within these areas, they are judged to have achieved a 'Good Level of Development'.

There are 40 words to read in total and the pass mark is 32. If pupils do not pass in Year 1, they take the test again in Year 2.
